"The Brother MFC-9840CDW All-In-One Color Printer is a piece of junk! After 1 year the print quality sucks, there is a gray background on every page. Cleaning doesn't solve the problem. Swapping out the drums, toner cartridges and other parts don't seem to help, either. One repair guy told me (for $100) to junk the printer and buy a different brand. All the Brother customer support did was verify that the toner cartridges and drum were genuine Brother parts, not knock-offs, then politely said "no warranty, call a repairman." Thanks a lot. Don't buy this printer! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER BROTHER PRINTER AS LONG AS I LIVE!!!"
